Experiments

A space to play

I'm curious about many things, and I tend to learn best by trying things out.

So this is a space where I experiment, follow rabbit holes and play around with things that fascinate me. From curiosity and foresight to new ways of working, consciousness and the meaning of life.

Some experiments might turn into something useful. Others might lead nowhere (or somewhere completely unexpected). It's all great learning.

Think of this as an experimental space for trying things out, following my curiosity and seeing what happens. Hopefully there might be something useful here for you too.

Curiosity Research Atlas

A map of the last ten years of research on curiosity: over 400 papers across six themes, with a searchable index and a glossary of key terms. I built it as a study aid using AI, with Perplexity to find the papers and Claude to build it, and I update it once a month.

Consciousness Research Radar

As a long-term yogi and meditator, I'm fascinated by consciousness: what it is, how it works and how we might raise it, individually and globally. This radar maps over 1,800 papers from the last five years on consciousness in the spiritual and contemplative sense, from mystical experience and the self to meditation, yoga and breath.

It's a starting point for exploring the research rather than a complete record. Like the Curiosity Atlas, I built it with AI, using Perplexity to find the papers and Claude to build it.
